The Apple Pencil
Though the Apple Pencil has been around since 2015, there are still plenty of people who haven't taken the pen out of its box. According to MacRumors, 55 percent of Apple iPad owners said they “don’t even know what the Apple Pencil is or how it works.” Here are 3 things you didn’t know you could do with your Apple Pencil.

Write an Email with an Apple Pencil
You can program the Apple Pencil to write an email with Scribble.
How to:
1) Open your iPad settings and select 'Apple Pencil.'
2) Look for a toggle switch titled 'Scribble' and turn it on.
3) Tap on the mail icon on your iPad.
4) Begin to write with your Apple Pencil in any of the sections of your email.
5) Click send. The email has been sent!
Use Your Apple Pencil as a Mouse
The Apple Pencil isn't just a stylus. It's a precision instrument. It has sensors that detect pressure, tilt, and exact location on the iPad's screen. And one of its most impressive features is the ability to click and drag objects on the iPad just like you can with your mouse on a computer.
Tapping and holding down the Pencil tip anywhere on the iPad’s screen lets you move icons and files around for organization, or even simply scroll through documents, websites, and more. Each time you lift up the Pencil from your screen, you'll go back to where your finger was last, as if you never moved at all!
Auto-Correct Your Handwriting
You can set up the auto correct text so that when you use your Apple pencil to write, it will translate to text, like if you write an 'o' it will correct it to an '0'.
This is great for kids in school.
To do this, go into your settings.
Scroll down and select 'General.’
Then look for and select 'Keyboard.'
Locate 'Auto-Correction' and turn it on, also make sure 'Auto-Capitalization' is on as well.
The last thing that you need to do is what we call the 'write to type test'.
Just write something like 'Hello'. You should see that it automatically changes the word from 'Hello' in handwriting to 'Hello' in text. This means that it works and has been set up correctly!
